Cookies

Short version: lodat.co.uk does not set tracking cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

What we don't use

  • No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom).
  • No advertising cookies (no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads, no LinkedIn Insight).
  • No third-party tag managers.
  • No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.

What might end up in your browser anyway

Browsers and our hosting platform (Vercel) may store first-party items that aren't tracking cookies in the privacy sense:

  • A small Vercel session cookie used to maintain edge routing. It does not identify you and is not used for analytics.
  • Standard browser caches of static files (CSS, fonts, images) to make the site load quickly on repeat visits.

If we add analytics in future

If we ever add analytics, we will pick a privacy-respecting product (such as Plausible) that does not require a consent banner under UK law, update this page first, and explain clearly what is collected. If we ever needed to use cookies that require consent, we would add a proper banner.
